A large part of the body detoxification process is colon cleansing. Often known as colonic therapy, colonic irrigation, coffee enemas or colema. This practice can bring extremely good benefits to weight loss, digestive function and ongoing health and vitality. It can be done with a machine and an assistant or self-administered. We believe if you use a machine you must take care, not to overdo them. One a week is maximin for colonic irrigation. Known as Gerson Therapy and Coffee Colema self-administered are a softer gentler approach and the only daily recommended form of colema for colon cleansing.
There are all sorts of talk that the human body is an amazing thing and can detox itself. This might be true if we lived in the perfect world, ate learn food, drank and breathed perfect water and air but this is not the case. The body needs assistance, just as a car needs a service – as crud as this example might be, it’s true! The body needs colon cleansing from time to time.
The average person is believed to hold as much as 2.5kg or 6 lbs of undigested waste in their intestines. The more overweight the person, the more stored waste. What does this mean? Basically, the more processed food you consume, the harder it is for your digestion to break down these foods. Over time the unprocessed food builds up, causing the body to slow, energy levels to drop, stomach bloating and weight retention. Colon cleansing is the process that eliminates this waste and restarts your digestive system and metabolism.
At New Leaf Detox Resort, we have had years of experience and 100% success with self-administered colonic therapy. We use herbs, coffee and natural supplements to clean the waste from your colon. We educate you on how you can administer this therapy. Our staff set up the colema board and fluid bottles in your private bathroom. Each detox day, you have a scheduled time to perform your colema.
Daily colema for all detox days except the day after the Liver flush days is scheduled for every detox guest. The liver flush is optional at New Leaf Detox. Guests doing the 28-day detox program would do a maximum of 25 colemas during their stay at New Leaf.
