I have been actively involved with New Leaf since 2010. I came to the resort as a guest in my late forties, struggling to lose weight. At that time, I was training six days a week, preparing for Ironman Triathlon 70.3, and living and running the Shanghai Triathlon Club. I was eating the local food but doing a very high training volume, yet unable to get the body shape results. I was cancelling out the food I was eating, and I felt my metabolism was slow.

My first visit to New Leaf Detox in Thailand was a 14-day stay where I dropped 13kg in 14 days. From what I understood, that massive result was a giant internal ‘clean out’. I was incredibly shocked and happily surprised.

A Special Edition Podcast is featuring Weight Loss for Men Over 50. In this podcast episode #013, KP flies solo and discusses four critical points for successful weight loss and longevity for men over fifty. KP dives into the essential supplements needed for men over 50, and at the end of the podcast, he features single and three-day green juice fast examples.

KP chats about Sleep and Hydration, but the main points in the podcast are diet, supplementation and body movement. The essential supplements most men over 50 require daily. Exercise is vital for men over 50 and especially the type of exercise. KP talks about the CrossFit type of exercise and the vast benefits that come from that type of movement and exercise.

Since joining the New Leaf team on 2010, I have worked with many men, mostly over 50. As we grew together, I understood what we, men over fifty, need to do in our daily lives to lose weight and maintain good health, endurance and overall wellness.
